![]() Exquisite residential gardens in Pacific Heights, one of San Francisco's premier neighborhoods, will be the subject of this year's self-guided tour, including some which have never before been open to the public. Although in the midst of a busy city, the owners of these luxuriant retreats have created beautiful outdoor spaces filled with topiary, dazzling flowers, exotic trees and elegant bonsai... including a distinquished 300-year-old Cork Oak bonsai. Ten of the gardens are clustered between Divisadero and Steiner, Broadway and Clay... plus a bonus garden on Pine Street being featured in the Spring 2007 issue of Better Homes & Gardens, which you won't want to miss. The tour can be enjoyed at your own pace. An inspiring event for a Mother's Day weekend! One featured garden even has a flower dedication to mothers. Some of the gardeners who created these exceptional gardens will be present to discuss their favorite projects and answer questions. Light refreshments and musical interludes will be offered, along with an early-bird opportunity to buy recycled garden books.
